Ice Cream Making in Inaka

Last week as part of our Cause and Effect work the New Entrant class made strawberry ice cream.

First we poured strawberry milk into a small zip lock bag, this bag was then placed into a larger zip lock bag that was filled with ice and salt.

The salt melted the ice and caused the milk to change from a liquid to a solid - or from milk to ice cream.

Then the class wrote invites to Mrs Worner to come and taste the ice cream.

Mrs Worner thought the ice cream
was scrumptious.
